KaraFi terms of use

These terms govern your relationship with KaraFi (Kara Finance). By creating an account or using any part of the site, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use KaraFi. 1. What KaraFi is KaraFi is an over-the-counter market for financial credits (GAM certificates and bills of exchange). Holders post sell (discounting) requests and buyers post purchase requests. KaraFi introduces matching supply and demand, connects the parties and, on request, supports the deal with a specialist or its brokerage desk. KaraFi is not an exchange, a bank or an issuer of certificates, and it is not a party to any deal unless that is expressly agreed in writing. 2. Your account - The information you give at registration and in your profile must be accurate, complete and current. - You are responsible for your password and for access to the account's mobile number and email. Everything done with your account is recorded in your name. - Each person or company acts only through its own genuine accounts. Accounts in someone else's name or with false documents are prohibited. 3. Verification and green ticks - Sending requests to the market requires a business profile verified with an official introduction letter. Once approved, the profile gets a green tick. - A green tick on a certificate means the evidence provided (such as the bank SMS) was reviewed. It is not a KaraFi guarantee of repayment, value or the outcome of a deal. - KaraFi may ask for further documents, or suspend or withdraw a verification, when in doubt. 4. Market rules - Every sell request, purchase request and ad is reviewed by KaraFi specialists before it is published and may be rejected or returned for changes. - Each account has a limit on active requests (currently 3 sell requests, 3 purchase requests and at most 4 active in total). Each certificate has a nominal value of 1,000,000 rials and a maturity of at most 12 months. These values may change; the ones shown in the panel when you submit apply. - The person who submits a request is responsible for the accuracy of the certificate details (obligor, beneficiary, count, maturity and rate). - Fake, duplicate or manipulative requests intended to move prices or rates are prohibited. 5. Confidentiality and introductions The parties' names and contact details are not shown on the trading board. They are shared only after a connection request is accepted. Use the details you receive this way only for that deal and do not pass them on. 6. Deals and payments - A deal can be made directly between the parties, through KaraFi's brokerage desk, or with a specialist's help. The parties set and confirm its terms themselves (discount rate, amount, timing and method of transfer). - Payments made through the KaraFi wallet and escrow are held and released according to the steps shown on the site. KaraFi is not responsible for payments or agreements made outside the site. - Fees for non-basic services are announced before the work starts. Basic services are free. 7. Advice and educational content Advice from Kara Consultant and Kara Chain and the content of KaraFi Plus, the academy and the forum are for your information. They are not investment advice or a guarantee of any result. Every trading decision is yours. 8. What is not allowed - Submitting false information or documents, or certificates you do not own or are not entitled to transfer - Any activity that breaks the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran, including anti-money-laundering laws - Harassing other users, posting abusive content or unrelated advertising - Attempting unauthorised access, disrupting the site or harvesting users' data automatically If any of these happen, KaraFi may remove content, restrict or block the account and, where required, report the matter to the authorities. 9. Limitation of liability KaraFi works to keep the site accurate and available but does not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free. KaraFi is not responsible for the obligations of a certificate's obligor, its issuing bank or the other party to a deal. 10. Privacy Your information is used only to provide the service, verify identities, connect the parties to a deal and meet legal requirements. It is not sold or given to anyone outside those purposes. 11. Changes to these terms KaraFi may update these terms. The new version applies from the moment it is published on this page, and continuing to use the site means you accept it. 12. Governing law and disputes These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
